Who is Matt Payne?

Matt Payne is the founder of Sales Boost Consulting, based in Portland, Oregon, with 25 years of sales, sales training, and public speaking experience. He has spent his career helping people sell more and teaching them how to do it, across businesses of every size. That range is the point. He knows what actually works in the field and what only sounds good on a slide.

Today Matt runs two practices under one roof. For growing SaaS companies he provides fractional sales enablement: onboarding, playbooks, and AI systems that shorten rep ramp time and standardize how teams sell. For small business owners, independent insurance agents, financial advisors, and loan officers, he turns AI into more leads answered and more business won, without adding complexity. He runs his own practice on these exact workflows every day, so what he teaches is what he uses.

A 25-year career in sales and sales enablement, including senior enablement roles inside high-growth software companies. Matt was Director of Sales Enablement at Medallia, and has built and led enablement work at Lytics and Teradata: shortening rep ramp time, building playbooks, and rolling out the systems that let teams scale.
